Bonfire / Feels Like Comin' Home (1996)

After the good release of "Knock Out", German hard rockers Bonfire are back with "Feels Like Comin' Home ". A more laid-back album but with the Bonfire feeling still here. This time the duo of Clauss Lessmann and Hans Ziller takin' care of all the instruments (except drums), and delivering an overall very good album. The album starts with the energetic "Easy Come Easy Go ", a classic Bonfire tune! "Back To You" continues in the same up-tempo way with a nice-catchy chorus. The cover track of Lobo "I'd Love You to Want Me " is simply sensational. " Say " & "Highway to Your Dreams " are very good melodic tracks with inspired hook lines and choruses. In the same tempo are the rest tunes of the album with a perfect balance between rockers and ballads/mid-tempos. All in all this is a good album, more laid-back but well played!
