Firehouse / Prime Time (2003)

"Prime Time" was the bands latest effort and it's great to hear and see that the band is on top form!Firehouse was one of the big names in the hair-metal scene back in the 80's early 90's with albums like their huge self titled and their second "Hold Your Fire" they put their mark in the heavy metal world. But after the big success of the first two albums they released albums not as equal as the first two, some of them were good some below average, at least for me.
So, this release is a back to their roots album with nice melodies, great guitar work and catchy choruses and hooks. Also in this one lead vocalist CJ Snare takes a break from his duties for three tracks.Drummer Michael Foster makes his debut on 'Door to Door' and guitarist Bill Leverty steps behind the microphone for 'Holding On' and 'I'm The One' . Overall a great comeback from a great hard rock band! 8/10
Tracks
