House of Lords--House of Lords (1988)

This is the debut album of a really huge band. "House Of Lords" is a great album! Soaring vocals, big solos and riffs, tight songwritting, melodic keys and a 'fat' sound. Greg Guiffria( Guiffria)and Chuck Wright team up here, and the result is simply amazing!
There are Graham Bonnet-like, soaring vocals from James Christian--which are also a bit reminiscent of David Glen Eisley. Every single track here is awesome. But if I had to pick some highlights here, these could easily be the heavy opener tune of "Pleasure Palace", the commercial  "Hearts of the World"  and the huge "Edge Of Your Life" .
All in all this is a very good debut album!
