THE STICKY FINGERS LTD / The Sticky Fingers LTD (2014)

The Sticky Fingers Ltd. is a rock band from Vignola (Modena, Italy), formed in 1996 by guitarist Lorenzo Mocali, initially with the name Sticky Fingers, a power trio dedicated to 70’s–era blues rock, heavily influenced by The Rolling Stones, Faces, Humble Pie, Beatles, Cream and Lynyrd Skynyrd amongst the others.

In 2013, the band changed its name to The Sticky Fingers LTD and with that name it started working on new material. The new line-up consists of Lorenzo Mocali, guitars and vocals, Flash, the original band’s drummer since 1999 and the two new entries of Jaypee on bass and Inch on guitar.

For sure, the band's main influences are the above mentioned bands but The Sticky Fingers LTD tried and put more muscle in their sound and the final result is more than good. Take for example the opening tune of "Do You Feel My) Sticky Fingers" which has attitude, a 'punchy' guitar sound and some really powerful vocals. Plus to the above, a catchy chorus line and there you have a killer track!! "In The Night" is filled with a strong blues dose while in "Jailhouse Tonight" we are dealing with a Dogs D' Amour influenced tune and, of course, one of the album's highlights!!  Great up-tempo Rock 'N' Roll stuff!!! Listen, also, to the heavier and 'darker' "Take Me Home" and "Serial Killer" and you'll be surprised by how good this band is!

This 'dirty' rock 'n' rollers took me by surprise with their 100% classic rock sound and put a smile upon my face!
