Girish And The Chronicles is a hard rock band that comes from India!! The band has opened for bands such as Hoobastank, Poets of the fall and Destruction. G.A.T.C. has been a part of various leading music festivals in India.
"Rock The Highway" is the band's second release. It is an album that if you are a fan of the late 80's, ealry 90's, melodic hard 'n' heavy sound you have to add it to your collection! Screaming guitars, powerful and in-your-face vocals, a rhythm section solid as hell and some loud choruses enough to make you scream for more are the ingredients of this baby!
The opening tune of "Rock The Highway" is pure hair metal delight; play it on 10!!! Somewhere between Skid Row and heavier Warrant this one is just perfect! The powerful "Every Night Like Tonight", the Steelheart-esque "The Disatnce Between", the totally ass-kickin' "She's Heavy Metal", the smokin' "The Rebel" (with it's crazy soloing...) and the bad-ass groovier "Tears Of The Phoenix" are all pure Hair Metal gems!!!
I've been cranking this little gem up for the last month and I have to say that I'm really impressed! A straight forward, powerful and high energetic release that includes killer vocals, shredding guitars, tons of hooks and choruses and the 80's vibe alive and kicking!!!
