Happily, Bret Michaels has fully recovered and ready to rock! The legendary frontman of Poison is back, after his serious health problems, with his new album 'Custom Built'. What we have here is a 12 track album with some new tracks, a new version of 'Every Rose Has It`s Thorn', a cover song and some older tracks from his solo stuffs. I always was a big fan of Poison's music and I really like Bret's voice a lot. The new tracks here are all pretty good. They have a good rock vibe with nice choruses and Bret's voice on top form. I also have to admit that the duet with Miley Cyrus on 'Nothing To Lose' is a very good track and it's going to be a big radio hit. But the highlight here, for me, is for sure the opening track "Riding Against The Wind' , a really cool rockin' tune! All in all this is an interesting release from Bret Michaels. Maybe the most of us, Poison fans, wanted a more hard rockin' album in the vain of Poison but for now listen to 'Custom Built' and who knows what the future may bring.
