REVIEW : REVOLUTION SAINTS, Rise (Frontiers Music s.r.l., Release: 24 January 2020)

Revolution Saints is a kinda of super group. One look at the line-up and you realize that the label 'super-group' fits perfect. Deen Castronovo (The Dead Daisies, ex-Journey, Bad English), Doug Aldrich (The Dead Daisies, Burning Rain, ex-Whitesnake, DIO), Jack Blades (Night Ranger) and last but not least the 'mighty' Alessandro Del Vecchio (keyboards, backing vocals and production) consists this amazing band.

With already two amazing releases on their sleeves, Revolution Saints strikes back with album number three which is entitled "Rise" and it's gonna be released through Frontiers Music this January.

The new opus kicks-off with such an amazing way; "When The Heartache Has Gone" is the opener tune of "Rise" and it's without any doubt one of the album's best tracks. Powerful, melodic and with a killer chorus line this one is going to be a future classic. Next, in "Price We Pay" we have another yet highlight. An AOR-ish gem that includes some excellent arrangements, a melodic line to die for and superb vocals. The heavier and punchy "Rise" along with the breathtaking ballad of "Closer" are two more brilliant moments out of the new album.

In "Higher" the band delivers a rougher, ass-kickin' and groovier song while in "Talk To Me" we have a breathtaking tune. Commercial with a more pop-rock vibe in it "Talk To Me" also includes the amazing performances of Lunakaire as a guest vocalist. For damn sure another highlight here. "Million Miles" is just what the AOR doctor has ordered and with "Win Or Lose" we have another winner out of the new record.

2020 comes with a highlight; the new Revolution Saints opus is a melodic rock monster and it includes killer tunes in it, a tight musicianship, a solid production and great performances by these very talented musicians.
