YOSO / Elements (2010)

Did you miss bands such as TOTO, YES and some JOURNEY? If yes then you should have to check YOSO! YOSO is a band consists of Bobby Kimball( Toto) on lead vocals, Scott Conner on drums, the 'legendary' Tony Kaye, of YES, on keyboards, Billy Sherwood on bass and Johnny Bruhns on guitars.

What to except here? For sure YOSO is more than a combination of these two bands (YES and TOTO). They achieve to marry the sound of their 'old' bands, that means pure AOR sound with great melodies and melodic hooklines, with some modern AOR/rock elements! All this plus a live cd which sees the band play some of old and new classics. Highlights here are the fantastic “Path to Your Heart”, the faster “The New Revolution”, “Won’t End Tonight” and the sensational ballad of “Return to Yesterday”. All in all this is a very good release for the lovers of pure melodic/AOR sound and especially for the fans of TOTO, YES or even some 'lighter' JOURNEY fans!!
