Second album for Burning Rain and if you liked the first one then "Pleasure To Burn" will drive you crazy! Guitar driven hard rock with balls! Doug Aldrich just smokes in this one. Once again the guitar work from Doug Aldrich is huge and some influences from George Lynch can also be heard here without loosing their originality. The songs are a bit heavier here in some parts and also there are a couple of fantastic ballads such as "Cherie Don't Break My Heart " and "Faithfully Yours ". The production is sharp and 'fat' and the final result is big. It's too bad that after this release the band split. The rumors are that Burning Rain are back together writting some new tunes! Let's hope that in the near future we will have a new album from Doug and his gang because albums like these are the reasons that we love this music.
