The mighty and very talented musician Chris Laney, is back with his second album which is titled "Only Come Out At Night". His first album, "Pure", last year was a nice surprise for the scandi-melodic sleaze lovers as it showed Laney's high skills. Except being a very good producer and guitarist, he is a good singer too. In this one there are not too much differences from Laney's debut effort, the sound still remains anthemic sleaze hard rock. I think that the only thing that is a bit better here are the choruses and the melodies. This time the choruses are catchier and some 'bigger' and inspired melodies making this album a must have for those who likes their music loud with attitude. Just listen to the huge and anthemic "One Kiss Tonight " with its killer chorus, "Playing With Fire" and "Only Come Out At Night" and you will discover a very good record full of energy and passionate performances!
