Wildside / Under the Influence (1992)

A blast from the past album! Wildside's debut album, "Under the Influence", released in 1992 and when it came out it really rocked our world!!!!! The only problem that time, 1992, was that back then the hair metal sound seemed a bit 'uncool' cause of the grunge revolution!!

And it's a bit disapointing that Nirvana achived to 'kill' the pop-metal bands of that time in such a short time. But hey, for me and I think for the most of you, was not a problem because this album rocks big time!

Wildside's music can described as a perfect mix of a little bit of Skid Row and a strong dose of Motley Crue and Guns N' Roses. But without any doubt the guys had their self indentity too. Strong powerfull vocals, sharp and crunchy guitars, very good production and a raw in-your-face sound, " Under the Influence" is a huge hair metal album that everybody must own!! Buy it!
