Dare / Blood From Stone (1991)

This was Dare's strongest release. After their huge "Out of the Silence" debut album, Dare released "Blood From Stone". A heavier sound in this one, with anthemic choruses and amazing guitar work. I dont't know if Keith Olsen is responsible for the music direction of this album but one thing is sure, this album rocks!! Darren Wharton sings his heart out in this one while Vinny Burns delivering some amazing solos and the result of the album is a well played heavy rock gem that everybody must own. For many years this album was very hard to find with some very high prices, but  finally the album has been reissued. All in all this is a solid release, in my opinion the best album from this band, and a must have for everyone. A huge old fashioned arena heavy rock album that can hold its own with any of the big name bands of recent years.
