Tesla / Mechanical Resonance (1986)

A great debut album!!! 'Mechanical Resonance' released in 1986, the band played straight-forward heavy rock with some huge riffs and attitude. They sounded somewhere between a heavier AC/DC and Dokken.T esla earned the respect of metal fans from various genres right from the start. This album rocks you from start to finish, no fillers here, the great songs hit you one after another.Jeff Keith's voice is powerfull and smooth , a kinda nastier Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. Guitarists Skeoch and Hannon delivering some amazing and inspired riffs and solos and the songs...the songs are rockin n' rollin big time. There is no need to mention each song separately because every tune here is perfect. So, all in all this is a huge debut album from a band that  I had hoped wouldn't break up for a long, long time...and so they did! A huge release!
