Skid Row / Thickskin (2003)

After the departure of Sebastian Bach ,who was a big trademark of the band, things was very difficult for Skid Row.And also when this band have released albums like their self titled and "Slave To The Grind" you expect something if not equal as their previous works,at least a decent album!"Thickskin" is the first album with new singer Johnny Solinger and a much different sound. One thing is sure, the Skids still haven't forgotten how to write a catchy hard rock song but still is not sounding like their glory days. A lot of modern influences mixed with some catchy hooks and choruses and low tuned guitars is the result of this album. Some good modern rock tracks such as 'Ghost '(brilliant) , 'One Light ', 'See You Around ' and 'Down From Underground ' are saving the things here!!Overall a good modern hard rock album.Listen before buy!
