Michael Bormann / Capture The Moment (2008)

Album No 3 for the mighty Michael Bormann (ex-Jaded Heart, The Sygnet, Rain, Redrum and the list goes on and on). His first solo release was a very good more laid back soft AOR album with some cool tunes but nothin' breathtakin. The second "Conspiracy" was more straight forword melodic hard rock in the vain of Jaded Heart. This one is somewhere between his glory days with Jaded Heart plus some modern hard rock sound elements, just hear "Don’t Bother Me ", a duet with Sonja Rippelmeier and sounds a lot like a lost Within Temptation song from the new era. For sure in this album you can find some great hard rock anthems with catchy choruses and the unique performances from Mr. Bormann. 8/10
Tracks 1. When Push Comes to Shove 2. Friends for a Lifetime 3. Come Take me Higher 4. Live Your Life 5. I Wanna Hear Your Voice 6. Half Way Down 7. I Will Hold the Line 8. Love is Magic 9. Glory & Pain 10. Don't Bother Me 11. Doing or Not 12. Still Haven't Found It 13. Just For a Little While 14. Go Going Gone
