AOR / Journey To LA (2009)

Journey To LA is the latest all-star project/band for Frιdιric Slama (guitars, keyboards)  with his long time friend Tommy Denander (all instruments) and a bunch of special guests.Other guests include: Steve Lukather(toto), David Williams, Eric Barkdull and Bruno Levesque (Guitars) plus David Diggs and David Getrau (Keyboards). First of all this album offers some great vocal performances from the primarily vocalist on the album Philip Bardowell. Also, Steve Overland, Fergie Frederiksen, Bill Champlin, Dane Donohue contribute their great voices to some of the songs. The sound of the album is pure AOR with some great tracks in it, but the problem of the album is the bad production.Overall is a very enjoyable album for AOR lovers. 7/10
