Cats in Boots--Kicked & Klawed (1989)

Pure party metal... very sleazy and surprisingly heavy, as well! They took the best elements of the hair metal monsters like Motley Crue, the party feeling of Poison and some bits of early Guns N Roses with a nasty-attitude in some places.

Joel Ellis can go from a smooth glam voice, to a gruff and teasing Vince Neil."Shotgun Sally" opens the offering in energetic and riff-rowdy fashion, and is followed by the rolling notes of the hyped "Nine Lives (Save Me)". "Long, Long Way From Home" is tight and flowing, and "Judas Kiss" is grooving and strutting. Some other cool tunes are "Whip It Out," "Evil Angel," and "Bad Boys Are Back".

TRACK LIST: Shot Gun Sally/Nine Lives (Save Me)/Her Monkey/Whip It Out/Long, Long Way From Home/Coast to Coast/ Every Sunrise/Evil Angel/Bad Boys Are Back/Judas Kiss/Heaven On a Heartbreak
